SELVA exists for one purpose: to help the body restore itself, with method and transparency. Every protocol is built on a specific clinical indication, a mandatory physician evaluation, and a plan made for one patient at a time. Our care doesn't end when you leave — your patient coordinator stays with you from the first call through the months that follow.

We are deliberately not a high-volume clinic. The same small medical team is present at every session. Care here means time, attention and conversation — and a relationship that continues, through your patient coordinator, in the months that follow.

Treatment duration

Most protocols are completed in two to three days; some can be done in a single day. Short enough to fit a focused trip — long enough to be done properly.

Co-Medical Director

Physician and Surgeon, Universidad Latina (2020). Focused on Regenerative and Anti-aging Medicine, with a Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery and Body Sculpting. Six years of practice between Miami and Costa Rica.

Daniel Roberto Álvarez Bogantes

Hyperbaric & Respiratory Specialist · Licensed Respiratory Therapist · Master in Hyperbaric Medicine · Founder of PulmOx Costa Rica

Licensed Respiratory Therapist with a Master's degree in Hyperbaric Medicine, and founder of PulmOx Costa Rica. He personally manages every hyperbaric chamber session across SELVA's protocols, with continuous monitoring throughout.

For articular procedures, the team is joined by an orthopedic surgeon; an anesthesiologist is present per procedure when required.

SELVA operates within an authorized medical center in Sabana, San José, in compliance with Costa Rica's Ministry of Health regulations, and with physicians registered with the Colegio de Médicos y Cirujanos de Costa Rica.

SELVA Longevity is part of an integrated medical community in Sabana, San José. Our physicians also lead an established hyperbaric and respiratory practice and an associated aesthetic clinic — giving patients access to proven, on-site expertise in hyperbaric, respiratory, and aesthetic care. We are roughly fifteen minutes from Juan Santamaría International Airport, and a short walk from international hotels.
